Mrs A had unnecessary dental work carried out after being negligently advised by the Defendants that she required numerous extractions and replacement restorative work, including a bridge and implants. The treatment plans were changed on several occasions without Mrs A being fully informed, leading to confusion, anxiety and stress.
The bridge and implants fitted were the incorrect size and shape, and were not fitted in the correct position. This caused further complications including periodontal issues and the avoidable loss of several teeth.
Mrs A’s claim was successful, the damages of which can now be used towards a new up to standard dental bridge and implants.
